Ashley Perkins, Vice President of Cox Business in Oklahoma, has been with Cox Communications for 14 years.  She currently provides direction and leadership for the business to business sales organization and other operational assets and returned to her home-state of Oklahoma in 2021 from her previous role was as Vice President of Cox Business for Nebraska, Iowa, and Idaho.  A graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a 30- year veteran of the technology industry, her background includes telecommunications, technology start-ups, government affairs, marketing, and public relations.

Perkins prefers not to do things small.  She has made a large impact in the Oklahoma City community through non-profits, educational foundations, volunteerism and leadership development.  A Club 29 Rotarian, Leadership Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma graduate and a board member for Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation and Calm Waters, Perkins has a long list of board activities.  Her board activity began with the American Red Cross of Central Oklahoma and grew to the Center for Non-Profit Management, Urban Development Authority, multiple metro-area city chamber boards.  She is very proud of her work with the OKC leadership team for “Metropolitan Area Projects for Kids” (MAPS for Kids) to provide updated schools and buses for the Oklahoma City Public Schools.  She also co-chaired the inaugural “Downtown in December” event which brought an outdoor ice-skating rink and 30 days of holiday activities to downtown OKC.  Ashley has been named to the Woman of the Year “50 Making a Difference” twice, received the “40 Under 40” award and been named to the Cox Winner’s Circle and Torch award.

She and her husband are founding members of Life.Church in Omaha – the 33rd expansion location of Oklahoma City’s Life.Church.  They are avid Sooner fans and have three sons, two grandsons and a Labrador retriever that believes he is human.  Ashley enjoys reading, fitness dance classes, and college football.
